Scratch & Dent Motors repairs accident damage on cars, vans and trucks at our shop in College Park, GA. We handle everything from a crunched fender to a major front or rear impact, including the bodywork, frame measuring, parts replacement and paint needed to put the vehicle back to its pre-accident condition. Estimates are free.

What collision repair includes
A collision rarely damages just one part. A front-end hit can push the bumper cover, the reinforcement bar behind it, the headlights, the radiator support and the fenders out of place all at once. Collision repair means finding all of that damage, not only what shows from the outside, and fixing it in the right order.
Depending on the accident, the work can include:
- Bumper cover repair or replacement and the brackets and absorbers behind it
- Panel and door dent repair, or replacing panels that are too damaged to save
- Frame and unibody straightening when the structure has shifted
- Replacing lights, grilles, trim and mirrors
- Refinishing and color matching so the repaired area blends with the rest of the car
How a collision repair works at our shop
- Estimate. We walk around the vehicle with you, look at the visible damage and explain what is likely hiding behind it.
- Teardown and approval. If you are going through insurance, we coordinate the estimate with your adjuster. Any hidden damage found once parts come off is documented before work continues.
- Structure first. If the frame or unibody moved, it is corrected before any outer panels are fitted.
- Body and paint. Panels are repaired or replaced, prepped and refinished to match.
- Reassembly and final check. Lights, trim and gaps are checked before you pick the vehicle up.
After an accident near the airport
Our shop sits just off Forest Parkway and Clark Howell Highway, a short drive from I-75, I-285 and I-85. If your vehicle is still drivable, you can bring it straight in for an estimate. If a light, mirror or bumper is hanging, call (678) 902-2891 first and we will tell you whether it is safe to drive over.
If you are filing a claim, see how we work with your insurance company.
Questions about collision repair
Should I get an estimate before calling my insurance company?
You can do either first. Many drivers start the claim, then bring the car to us for an estimate so the adjuster has our findings. We work with your insurer either way.
Can you fix damage that is not visible from the outside?
Yes. Hidden damage behind bumpers and panels is common after a collision. We look for it during teardown and document it before repairing it.
Do you repair vans and trucks after a collision?
Yes. We repair cars, vans and trucks of every make and model, including work vehicles.
